History-beyond caste...

Throughout various phases of Indian history, it is widely acknowledged that prior to the Aryan migration, the Dravidians were among the earliest inhabitants of the region.

Among them, certain families held prominence, contributing to the early development of Tamil society. However, the origins and traditions of the Tamilians remain partially obscured by historical uncertainties.

Ancient records of the Dravidians indicate a well-structured social order, where professional roles dictated social ranks—an early form of societal organization distinct from later caste-based divisions. This serves as undeniable evidence of a sophisticated and well-advanced civilization.

It was only after the arrival of the Aryans that society was systematically divided into four castes. This classification, though widely accepted as an organizational framework, should not be misconstrued as a divine ordinance.

To assert that caste divisions originated from a sacred source, and to impose such a belief without critical reasoning, is fundamentally flawed.

The contributions of the Siddhar school,

particularly their advancements across various branches of knowledge, stand as a testament to their intellectual and scientific achievements. Their work underscores the remarkable progress made by the early Dravidian civilization in multiple disciplines.
